Over the weekend, This Is Us star Chrissy Metz introduced the world to her boyfriend Josh Stancil at Entertainment Weekly’s SAG Awards party in Los Angeles. According to UsMagazine.com, the celebrity couple met through a friend and have been dating for a couple of months. The breakout TV star couldn’t hide her happiness as she walked the red carpet with Stancil, who is reportedly a cameraman on the hit NBC show. Last month, she opened up about her new beau and their celebrity relationship, saying, “He’s an amazing guy. He’s super supportive and encouraging, and that’s all I could ask for. And he’s definitely a fan of the show.”

Like many contestants on NBC’s The Biggest Loser, 47-year-old Gina McDonald felt like a stranger in her own body. Over the years, she attempted many fad diets as the scale escalated uncontrollably. A lawyer and a law firm owner, she’s always been very accomplished in her professional life; unfortunately, her personal life used to be a different story. Back in 2002, poor eating habits, a lack of exercise, and a stressful divorce caused her to reach 245 pounds. Ashamed and left with two young children, the single mother struggled to keep her at home life in check.

This week on Ready for Love, we went to one of my absolute favorite places, Hawaii. My two best friends from childhood went to University of Hawaii at Manoa, so I have been to Oahu a few times, but this was my first time in Kona.

A really funny thing that viewers didn’t see is that we literally had to go straight from the plane to our date. The flight attendants kept asking what we were doing and what show we were on. We were cracking up because, obviously, we couldn’t tell them anything. It was quite apparent that something was up when we’re trying to do our hair and makeup in our seats and the small restrooms. Have you ever tried to get ready for a date in an airplane bathroom? It was a bit stressful for all of us, especially knowing that it’s going to be televised for the whole world to see.

As if Alison Sweeney wasn’t busy enough, she decided to make her foray into fiction with her first novel, The Star Attraction, which published earlier this week. When telling the story of Sophie, a Hollywood publicist who risks her fabulous job and happy relationship when she hooks up with a sexy client, the actress drew from her nearly two decades as Samantha “Sami” Brady on NBC’s Day of Our Lives, explaining that her experience on daytime television was the basis for writing her own story. She adds, “My best friend is a publicist, so that was certainly the inspiration for writing about that perspective of the industry. Plus, I have a lot of personal stories that contributed to the red carpet scenes in the book.”

If you’ve been watching NBC’s dating reality competition show Ready for Love, you may have been disappointed to hear that it was cancelled by the network after only two low-rated episodes. Many viewers felt like the new series presented a false reality when it came to dating and relationships, reinforcing the belief that you have to be perfect to find real love.

For those of you who are fans of the show, don’t fret! NBC.com is airing the remaining episodes, so you’ll still be able to follow the journey of Ernesto Arguello, Tim Lopez and Ben Patton as they search for their soul mates. Filming wrapped last August, so we can’t imagine what it’s been like for the bachelors to keep their final picks a secret — something that they must continue to do until the finale airs on Tuesday, June 4th. To tide us over, we caught up with Patton, who we interviewed prior to the premiere, and chatted about his current relationship, his take on the other two bachelors and his past love with one of the contestants.

Giuliana and Bill Rancic have a relationship that many of us admire, so it only makes sense that the couple was tapped to host NBC’s upcoming dating competition show Ready for Love. They’ve opened up their personal life to fans on their own reality show Giuliana and Bill on the Style Network, and now, they’ll be taking on a new role in front of the camera. “We absolutely love working together,” Giuliana says of the experience. “We banter back and forth quite a bit, but it’s all in fun.”

NBC announced today that its new relationship show Ready for Love has revealed the 36 women who will have the opportunity to compete for true love. The women have a chance to find romance with three successful and handsome men, hand-selected by executive producer Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives). The series, from Longoria’s UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, Renegade 83 and Universal Television, focuses on three extraordinary men — Ben Patton, an international financier from Dallas, Texas; Tim Lopez, a member of the popular music group Plain White T’s from Austin, Texas; and Ernesto Arguello, an entrepreneur with a social vision from Miami, Florida — who are committed to finding their soul mate.

As the weather goes from brisk to brash, we drag out our North Face jackets and holiday scarves in preparation for the winter ahead.  Sometimes it takes the glow of a loved one to keep us cozy, which is why the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree can produce some of the warmest moments of the holiday season.  Beneath the glow of the freshly lit evergreen, Javier Colon (Winner of NBC’s “The Voice”) serenaded a crowd with Christmas classics.  Afterwards, we chatted with him about his upcoming plans with his family for the Holiday season.

With the fifth and final season of NBC’s television series, ‘Chuck’, set to premiere this month, fans of the show are anxiously awaiting its return. When we last left the gang, Chuck (Zachary Levi) had to lead a team to fight against a deadly plot by Vivian Volkoff (Lauren Cohan) to save his bride, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) — all the while planning the beginning stages of his freelance spy agency.
