Another celebrity pregnancy in the books! According to UsMagazine.com, famous couple Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo recently celebrated a celebrity baby shower in honor of baby number two’s upcoming arrival. They are the proud parents to their first celebrity kid Camden, 2,  and are excitedly prepping for the birth of a baby girl. This hasn’t stopped them from having fun though. The celebrity family took on Peter Pan this Halloween: Nick as Peter, Vanessa as Captain Hook, and Camden as the crocodile.

The couple is expecting their first child in the next few months and it’s no surprise that both are elated for the fast approaching arrival of their son. The couple is even more ready to take on the unexpected, which for Mrs. Lachey includes working on ABC’s second season of The Wipeout with a newborn baby at home. Vanessa Minnillo is no more. The 31-year-old, who married Nick Lachey in July, has officially changed her name to Vanessa Lachey, reports E! Online. Lachey took to Twitter to break the news, tweeting, “So.  I’m making it official, and I LOVE my new name! @VanessaLachey has a nice ring to it.”

When Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey tied the knot on Friday in a tropical paradise surrounded by their nearest and dearest, their guests had no idea what to expect.  According to People, their wedding invitations came in the form of a place ticket with the only instructions being to dress “island chic.”  The day of the ceremony, the lucky guests were swept off to a secret island location.   On July 30th, viewers everywhere will also get to witness this special ceremony at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC as part of the Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding special.

It’s official!  Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnilo have agreed to have their wedding recorded live, according to UsMagazine.com.  However, Lachey admits that having cameras at their wedding wasn’t an easy decision.  “We kind of wrestled with that for a while, for obvious reasons,” he told reporters Saturday during his bachelor party at TAO in Las Vegas. “Having done reality TV in the past, I didn’t necessarily want to jump right back into it without having thought it through to great length, and we did.”  A reason the singer agreed to have cameras on his special day was because they weren’t going to stay there for long.  “It’s a one-off special; a chance to kind of have a great experience and a great moment in our lives documented on TV, and also for us, to have a great wedding video at the end of it,” he said of their TLC wedding special, which will be broadcast shortly after the couple swaps vows.

Nick Lachey, 37, had the luxury of having a 3-day bachelor party in Las Vegas this past weekend.  And though “whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” is the typical cliché that comes to mind, Vanessa Minnillo assured UsMagazine.com that this bachelor’s party was far from The Hangover’s tumultuous adventure.  Minnillo kept her presence known when Lachey received a black and red layered cake with a ball and a chain on top that was shackled to a mini Lachey’s leg.  It read, “Property of Vanessa.”

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo celebrated their upcoming nuptials this past Sunday at the London Hotel in West Hollywood with an extravagant and unforgettable wedding shower, according to People. Letting your partner go to Sin City without you is one thing, but letting him go with a bunch of supermodels seems a bit risky.  Apparently Vanessa Minnillo doesn’t think so!  Minnillo recently let future hubby Nick Lachey go to Las Vegas alone Thursday to host a Sports Illustrated swim party while she stayed behind for auditions. Talk about a cool fiance. Even though Vanessa wasn’t on Vanity nightclub’s list that night, she was on Lachey’s mind. “She looks as good if not better than any of the models you see behind me in a swimsuit,” he told E! Online. And as far as the wedding plans go, Lachey assures us that they’re “getting there slowly but surely…we’re inching our way along.”

It’s about time! People reports that Nick Lachey has finally popped the question to longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo last week near a beach in California.  Nick Lachey took to Twitter to confirm the happy news.  He tweeted, “Hey all.  If anyone’s heard the rumors of my engagement, they are absolutely true!  Vanessa and I couldn’t be happier.  Thanks for all the love.”  Nick Lachey, 36, and Vanessa Minnillo, 29, have been dating since 2006 and the bride-to-be has been recently needling her beau about marriage.  Last year Vanessa Minnillo said, “Once again it looks as if I’m always the bridesmaid but never the bride.”  Sounds like Nick Lachey got the hint when he sealed the deal with an Asscher-cut diamond flanked with trapezoids from Bader & Garrin, according to a source.  This is Lachey’s second marriage, after divorcing from first wife Jessica Simpson in 2005.

What happens when you run into your ex with his new girlfriend while you’re on a date with your new boyfriend?  Well, Jessica Simpson and beau Eric Johnson found out over the weekend when they ran into Simpson’s ex, Nick Lachey.  When asked about the incident by USA Today, the singer said, “He was at the same restaurant.  I didn’t speak to him.”  But apparently she was much more willing to talk when asked about her current relationship with Johnson, according to Us Weekly.  “He definitely makes me very happy,” she said.  “He brings out a lot of light in me and makes me very comfortable being who I am.  It’s nice to be with somebody who praises you for the right reasons.”  Is that a Nick Lachey burn?  We’ll never know for sure.How should you handle your first sighting of an ex post-breakup?
