I have actually had a success with going from friends to lovers. It was a long process and we had ups and downs and things were strange then not strange and the dynamics definitely changed, but for the better. It is a process you have to be patient with and flexible. I was best friends with him for years, and then we took it to another level. We were both scared and unsure because we didn’t want our friendship to be ruined- it also felt a little strange since we were always “just friends”- to make a long story short, it was the best decision we ever made. Being in love with your best friend is incredible and my boyfriend and I have been together for the past 5 years.

Love that she says to never go near a friend’s ex. Thats right, Karma is a b*tch. There are plenty of fish in the sea, no need to go shopping around at a store your friend has already been to.

My best friend and I had a sexual encounter and ever since then things have never been the same. He had emotional feelings towards me and I just wanted to remain friends, but unfortunately he wasn’t capable of that. Unless you both want something more don’t experiment- it could lead to a loss of a good friend.

I think it is best to keep in the friends zone when your job could be at risk, you know that your ‘friend’ is the player type, or when you think there is a large chance that being more than friends won’t be a success, because then you could lose him for good.
